Frequently asked questions
Search by keyword or browse the list below.
Do I need direct sun to grow vegetables?
Direct sun helps fruiting crops but leafy greens, peas, and many herbs do well with 3–4 hours plus bright indirect light. Our Light Planner and course intros help you decide realistically.
Which equipment is required for hydroponics?
A light-proof container, a small pump, air stone, and a simple EC pen are enough to start. We list exact specs and quiet options in the Hydroponics Starter course.
Are courses live or on-demand?
Both. Each track includes an on-demand core plus optional live workshops for Q&A and troubleshooting.
What’s the refund policy?
Full refund within 14 days if you watched under 25% of the content. Live workshop fees are refundable up to 48h before the event.
Do you ship supplies?
We don’t sell physical kits. Instead, we provide a vetted bill of materials with links to local hardware stores and online sellers.
Can I learn in a tiny studio?
Yes. Many modules are designed for 2–4 containers and foldable frames that stash behind a door.
Is there a certificate?
Yes. Complete assignments and a final checklist to receive a shareable certificate of completion.
Do you cover pests organically?
We prioritize prevention, mechanical controls, and safe products. You’ll learn IPM basics and when to escalate.
